How I came to insulation work in Hobbs
Before I ever worked in an attic, I spent years running the schedule for a busy company, so I know what it does to someone's day when a crew shows up late or a plan changes without a word. I learned insulation on job sites around Hobbs, and in 2017 I started B&M Hobbs Spray Foam Insulation to do the work the way I believed it should be done.
Today we insulate attics, walls and crawl spaces for homeowners, rentals for landlords, and shops and metal buildings for business owners. I still come out to look at the jobs myself, because most trouble in this trade comes from a skipped step, like laying new insulation over old material that got soaked or filled with droppings. We're licensed and insured, and you'll find the full list of what we do on our home page. Thank you for taking the time to read about us.
How we treat your house and your time
These are the things you'll notice when we work at your house, from the first visit to the last cleanup. Your satisfaction, guaranteed.
I look at your house before we quote
I come out myself and check how many inches are already up there and whether any of it is wet or full of droppings. That way the plan fits the house you actually have, not a guess made over the phone.
The work goes in the right order
Your estimate lists what we'll do and in what order, in plain words, so you know what's coming before we start. We seal the gaps around can lights, pipes and the attic hatch first, a step called air sealing, and we keep the eave vents clear so your attic can still breathe.
You'll hear from us if anything changes
Years of running schedules taught me that your time matters as much as ours, so I'd rather call ahead about a change than leave you waiting. If we find something once the job is open, we'll explain it to you before we go further.
What happens from your call to the finished job
Here's how a job runs with us, one step at a time. The schedule mostly depends on how soon I can look at your house and whether the job calls for a permit.
Call or send a request
Call (575) 318-2651 or reach us through our contact page, and tell us what's bothering you, whether it's a hot upstairs, cold floors or the power bill. We reply to every call and request within one business day.
I visit and write the estimate
I come out, look the job over and give you a free, no-obligation estimate that lists the work in order. The price turns on the size of the space, any old insulation that has to come out, and whether foam or blown-in fits best.
We sort out the permit question
Before work starts, I check with the office that covers your address, such as Hobbs Building Inspections, Lea County or the City of Seminole. If the job calls for a permit, we apply for it and arrange the inspections.
Our installers do the work
Our installers handle the install, and I check their work along the way. If we're spraying foam, we'll tell you ahead of time when you'll need to be out and when it's safe to come back inside.
