Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the B&M Hobbs Spray Foam Insulation website and any estimate or insulation work you get from us. When you browse the site, ask for an estimate, or hire our crew, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.
Your own job may also have a written estimate or agreement. If that paper says something different from this page, the written estimate or agreement for your job controls. You can head back to the home page at any time to look over our services.
What we do
B&M Hobbs Spray Foam Insulation is an insulation contractor in Hobbs, NM, serving Hobbs and the cities around it. We install spray foam, blown-in and batt insulation, remove old insulation, air seal attics, and insulate crawl spaces, walls and commercial buildings. We are licensed and insured. You can read more about our crew and how we work on our About page.
What you read on this site is general information about insulation. It isn't an inspection of your house, so it can't tell you what your attic or crawl space actually needs. Only an on-site look can do that.
Estimates and pricing
Quotes are free, done on site, and come with no obligation. We base the price on what we can see and measure when we visit, including the size of the space, how much insulation is already up there, the material you pick, and how easy the area is to reach.
Some things only show up once the work starts, like old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, buried eave vents, or damaged framing. When we find something like that, we stop, show you, and tell you what it changes. We don't do extra work or charge for it until you say yes. Changes you ask for after the estimate can change the price too.
An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material costs may have moved, and we may need to update the price before we schedule.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll give you a start date and tell you about how long the crew should be at your house. Weather, material deliveries and what we find once the job is open can move that date, and if that happens we'll let you know as soon as we can.
On the day of the job, please make sure we can get to the attic hatch, crawl space or work area, and keep kids and pets away from it. Spray foam jobs have a re-entry time, which is how long everyone stays out before coming back inside. We'll tell you before we start how long that is for your job, so you can plan around it.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us as early as you can. If we've already ordered material for your job or sent the crew out, you may owe the costs stated in your estimate or agreement.
Payment
The payment schedule, including any deposit and when the balance is due, is written in your estimate or agreement. Please read it before you approve the work.
If a balance goes unpaid past its due date, we'll contact you first to sort it out. If it stays unpaid, we may use the collection steps New Mexico law allows, and you may be responsible for reasonable costs of collecting what's owed.
Our guarantee and what we don't promise
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If something about our work isn't right, call us and we'll come back to look at it and make it right.
Insulation materials are covered by their makers' warranties. We pass those warranties along to you as the maker gives them, and the maker's terms decide what they cover.
We don't promise a set drop in your power bill or a set temperature in any room. Results depend on your house, its age, its ductwork, your windows and how you run your heating and cooling. Beyond our guarantee and any written warranty for your job, we make no other promises about our work or this website, as far as the law allows.
Limits on our liability
We're responsible for the work we do. We aren't responsible for problems that were already in your house before we arrived, such as roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pest damage or wiring issues, or for damage caused by work someone else does later.
As far as New Mexico law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses like lost income or higher utility costs, and our total liability for any job is limited to what you paid us for that job. Nothing here takes away any right the law doesn't let a business limit.
Using this website
You may use this site to learn about our services and get in touch with us. Please don't copy its content for commercial use or try to interfere with how it works.
Some pages may link to outside sites, such as a city office or a material maker. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what's on them.
Resolving a disagreement
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us first. Most issues get settled with a conversation and a return visit, and we'll work with you in good faith to fix it.
If we can't settle it that way, either of us may take the matter to a court with jurisdiction in Lea County, New Mexico, including small claims court where the amount fits.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico. For jobs we do in Texas, Texas law applies wherever it requires something different.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to your use of the site from the time it's posted. For a job you've already approved, the terms in place when you approved it still apply.
